Moving Amounts to and from in Android app

I've suggested this before, years ago, but the Android app still does not offer "Unallocated" in the drop-down list to allow the simple transfer an amount to or from "Unallocated". One must still do this solely on the webpage or resort to relatively complex workarounds with the apps. This has always been very inconvenient, confusing and completely unintuitive for the user.

This problem was just brought up again for the Apple app, and that was originally suggested for the Apple app many years ago, as well.

I would like to request the fix again since this would be relatively simple to fix, but I'm referring to the Android app, myself. I started this new topic to ensure that this second request is categorized correctly.

Please consider raising the priority of this fix for both the Android and Apple apps.

You guys and gals have built an incredible envelope budgeting app. I commend you all! Congrats!

I would truly like to see the GoodBudget apps continue to get easier and more intuitive to use for all.

This fix would accomplish a great deal in eliminating confusion and make the apps more intuitive for all of your customers.

Also, this particular suggestion seems to be a relatively straightforward, simple and quick fix. It could eliminate the need and the time dedicated by your staff to continue to write all of the many "how to" explanations of relatively complex workarounds to get around this probelm for many years to come.

Just my two cents, for what it's worth...

Hi John,

Thanks for the praise, and for letting us know why this feature would be important for you. That is helpful, as it allows us to know what to prioritize next. I've added your vote to our request features tracker.

Right now, we don't have plans to work on this. As you know, we're a small team, and so we have to prioritize features and requests. Currently, we're prioritizing bringing scheduled transactions to the Android app.

I will be happy to let you know if and when this gets onto our Roadmap. (

Thanks again, John!
