Well, in the first fortnight I paid home, car fee and Internet bill. In the second one, I paid loan, housekeeper and give money to my parents and son. Goodbudget only split the amount, but I need to show some payments in the first fortnight and other in the second one.

Good budget only works in months but will show the transactions by date in the envelope history and in your bank accounts.

Hi Cecilia,

That's a good question! Goodbudget can help you budget with an 'Every two week' or a 'Semi-Monthly' budget period. You're right that, by default, when you fill your Envelopes, Goodbudget will fill your 'Monthly' Envelopes with about half of the budget.

When you're ready to fill your Envelopes with your first paycheck, I'd recommend filling to full your Monthly Envelopes that represent bills that need to be paid with your first paycheck. Then, when you're ready to fill with your second paycheck a few weeks later, you'll fill to full your Envelopes that need to be used with your second payment.

Feel free to email us at support@goodbudget.com, if you need more specific steps!

Yes, I do it, but I need do manually, and it's so boring. I wish an option that show me in the first paycheck only. In the second paycheck only show this period payment.

Hi Cecilia,

Thanks for clarifying. It sounds like you'd like to see only the Envelopes that need to be filled with that particular paycheck. For now, you can try creating a Custom Quick Fill, one for each paycheck. That might make the filling process a bit faster. You can see how to create Custom Fills here

Thanks
