I think goodbudget should add note on envelop, so I can make note about what the envelop consist of. I.e- fun envelop ( dinner out, museum wit kids). Child care ( diaper, toys, )
I like this idea. In most cases, my envelope names give enough information, but sometimes I like to have envelopes that track certain categories of expenses that are a little varied. A note would help me to remember what I was thinking when I created it. It's typically those miscellaneous expenses that don't fit well into any category or that could fit in multiple categories that I struggle with. It would also help keep me and my wife on the same page when recording transactions. We think a little differently about things and this would help us coordinate better.
