Hi rosehematite,

Can you tell me more about what types of notes you see in your CSV file that you would like to import? Are these notes from your bank or do you manually add notes that you'd like to import?

I've added your suggestion to our requested features tracker and will update the item with any addition information you provide.

The bank has 3 areas that I'd like to keep with my download, One I put as the name, another as the check# (even though it's not usually a check #) and another just has more details.

Thanks for the additional information! It sounds like you'd want to import that "details" column as your "notes" in EEBA, is that right?

I would like to see this feature added also. I would use it by adding specific hashtags or comments into the csv file before I import my bank data. I was hoping one of the dropdown choices on the csv import page would by Notes and I could just add them to the csv file; rather than having to open each transaction individually after I import them to add my notes.  Thanks.

Long time premium subscriber here. I am quite surprised the CSV format is limited to Date, Name and Amount only and it doesn't map perfectly to the options you have when adding a transaction. "Notes" info is very important so that you can add details of transaction separately to describe the transaction which the Name field is not able to capture.

Hi Karim,

Thanks for posting! Are you hoping that the Notes column would allow you to import the Details column in your CSV file? Or do you want the ability to add your own Note to a transaction when you're importing?

If the latter, than it is currently possible to add Notes while importing transactions. To do that, rather than dragging the transaction into the Commonly Used Envelope bar at the bottom, drag it to the blank space on the right side of the screen to create the transaction. When you do that, a pop up box appears that allows you to add a Note.

Hope that helps!
