Have just moved banks and as such I have a lot of old accounts that require closing. Is there a way to do this or am I stuck with being unable to hide them/archive them?

Hi Colin,

Once you're finished with an account, you can delete the account on the Add/Edit Accounts page. You will no longer see your deleted accounts in your Account overview, but you will be able to filter for transactions for your deleted account using the Advanced search on the web.

I still would like a "hide/unhide" feature so I can bring it back into view if I want.

I agree. The alternative was just to have groups that collapse and remain collapsed so one can sort of hide them. That said, this is not so bad and when you go to the advanced search it does list the envelopes/accounts that have been deleted so it is easy to see all related transactions - I just tried it again and it does work. Just click on the envelope/account name within the advanced search and search for all.

Thanks Becky, so it works the same way as the new delete envelope. Excellent stuff.
Thanks again
Colin :-)
PS - Just a thought. Is there a way to undelete in case wrong a/c or envelope deleted?

Hi Colin,

Thanks for asking! Deleting an Account or Envelope is a permanent action.

I really do think there should be an undo option just in case there is an error. We are human and all make mistakes.
