Option to NOT auto-post scheduled transactions

Having had a few scheduled transactions hit when they actually hadn't yet for whatever reason, I thought it would be nice to be able to choose when scheduling, whether it auto-posts or not. Then to have the ability to view any "overdue" scheduled payments. I'm thinking about things like my annual insurance renewal which I'd scheduled, but as I've decided to switch providers and delay it by a few days, I want to a) remember to actually post it at some point, b) post it when I choose to.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your request. It sounds like you'd like to have an option for each pending scheduled transaction to toggle whether it posts automatically or not. I've added this request to our tracker for future consideration.

But in the meantime, what I would recommend doing is using the reminder email feature. You can access this by editing your transaction and checking the box that says "Email # days before". This will send you an email before your scheduled transaction posts, which should allow you to go into your household and either re-scheduled the transaction or let it post automatically as normal.

Hope that helps!

Another thing you could do is schedule the payment for several days AFTER you expect it to post.  Then you can click the Now button on the day it posts and make any adjustments you need to the payment before it is applied to your budget.
