Payee description please fix

I have been using Goodbudget for years the recent change does not allow you to edit the Payee description on iPhone app very time consuming because you have to delete the whole entry and add a new just to change the payee description PLEASE FIX

+1! This is definitely a glitch in this update. Instead of Payee we get Expense/Credit/Transfer, but the Expense/Credit field at the bottom of the entry is not tied to the one at the top. I also have to double-tap to change the amount of a recurring transaction and that’s tied to the same bug. Please make this a priority repair!!

Hi Tiffany,

I addressed the main part of this topic in my reply below, but would you clarify what you're saying about the recurring transactions? If that bug isn't also fixed by the new update, would you walk me through the steps for reproducing that one so we can get it looked at too? Thanks!

Hi Alex—I updated the app and can’t replicate that behavior with 2.5.1. Sorry I guess! But it seems to be fixed so the two must have been related and both corrected together. Thanks!!

Hi wheath and Tiffany,

Thanks for mentioning this, and sorry for the troubles. I can confirm that this is a bug that came out with the iOS app update (2.5). We've actually already released a fix for this bug in a new update (2.5.1), so if you haven't received the update yet automatically, you should be able to by visiting the App Store. That update should allow you to once again edit Payees for posted Expense/Credit transactions.
