Permanent Notification to add expenses from the lock screen?

Is there a way to make Goodbudget display a "permanent notification" so that in the lock screen I can double click and enter the amount instead of having to unlock the Android device, find the app and then click add?

Todoist has this feature and it lowers the barrier quite a bit to add new things on the go.

Hi Philipp,

That's a good question. Currently, there's no way to add an expense from the lock screen. However, since you're on Android, if you frequent the same places often, you can try using the Quick Transactions widget on your home screen. To add it, tap and hold on the Home Screen until you see the Widgets icon pop up. Then, find Goodbudget in the list. The widget will appear your home screen and you can use the "Quick Record" button to record a transaction.  Just check the "Add to Quick Transactions widget" check box when adding a new transaction through the main app, so that info is remembered in the widget.

In the meantime, I've added your vote of having the option to add an expense from the lock screen to our request features tracker for future consideration.

I hope this helps!
