Reconciling - adding or editing a transaction randomly unchecks previously cleared transactions

When reconciling a checking account if I edit or add a transaction then continue reconciling I find that random transactions that I had cleared before the edit will be uncleared. Thought I was messing up and not clearing transactions I marked on my statement, but then compared the "Transactions Cleared..." amount before and after edits to notice the "Cleared" amount would change. I can find the unchecked transactions by hunting down transactions that added up to the difference.

I'm using the current version of the Chrome browser.

Hi Crash,

Sorry for the troubles! I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly. You're saying when on the Account Reconciliation page, you'll either add a new transaction or edit an existing one, and then a separate, random transaction that was marked as 'cleared' will become uncleared. Is that right?

If you can, would you mind sending us an email at support@goodbudget.com with your Household username so we can take a closer look? Thanks!

Yes. That is correct, but when it happens it is often a couple of transactions, which makes finding them that much more fun!

Separate message is on its way.
