Simple spending tracker with no carry over

Need step-by-step instructions on how to 1) set up automatic "deposits" and automatic "clearing out" of envelopes every month; 2) How to delete a recurring deposit. I like the app, but this is just way too hard. I want a simple spending tracker that resets to zero every month. That's all I want.

These are good questions! It's definitely possible to start over fresh each month. I'll give you instructions to how to do this on the website, since you can only create scheduled items there. 

Set up automatic deposits
  • Add Transaction > Income 
  • Fill out the fields
  • Check the Schedule this.... box at the bottom to select how of you'd like the income to recur
  • Press Save when you're done
Set up automatic clearing out
You can do this by refilling your Envelopes and setting their balances to full
  • Click on Fill Envelopes ( and then on from Unallocated
  • Give the Fill a Name
  • Check the Schedule this... box and mark how often you'd like the fill to recur
  • Use the Quick Fill drop-down menu and select 'Set All', which will refresh your Envelopes to completely full
  • When you're done, press Save
Then, if you need to delete any transactions, you can do so by clicking on the transaction while in your Transaction History, and then on Delete.
