Turn Off Android Mobile App Transaction Response Popup

When I first starting using Goodbudget about three years ago, I enjoyed the popup messages in response to my transactions. They were cute, witty, encouraging, and made the app a little more personable. Three years in, though, with heavy daily use, I'm ready to turn off those popups. There was a time that the popups actually obscured the Add Transaction button, so not only did I have to see the unhelpful message, I had to wait several seconds for it to fade completely before I could continue with my next transaction. Luckily that's not a problem any more, as long as I can very precisely tap the button behind the popup.

I'd like to see an option in the Mobile App settings to disable this personable feedback. Let the new users and the occasional users enjoy the personable feedback by default; but let the seasoned and super-charged users disable the feedback to enter transactions faster and with fewer distractions.

Hi Jeff,

I'm sorry to hear those popups have actually hindered your ability to add transactions! We definitely appreciate the feedback and suggestion to have the option to turn the messages off.

I've added your request to our tracker for future consideration. Thanks again
