I am looking at using this for a budget app. I have 2 questions: can you link in >1 checking account? ..and are expenses (i.e. using a debit card,, auto payments) automatically deducted from checking accounts?
It sounds like you're asking about linking your Goodbudget household to your real-life bank accounts. Because of this, I just want to clarify that you can create Accounts in Goodbudget to keep track of your real-life bank accounts, but they do not automatically sync with each other. Instead, you can track your Account balances by recording transactions as you make them, or by importing banking activity you download from your bank's website. Goodbudget supports QFX (Quicken) and OFX (MS Money) file types.
So to answer your questions, on the paid Plus version of Goodbudget you can track >1 Account, and you can use scheduled transactions to automatically record expenses to your Accounts, but this information will all have to be entered by you, and will not automatically load.
