I'd like a bigger search box in the Google Toolbar.

I use the Google Toolbar in Firefox quite a bit. It would be nice if I had the option to make the input box bigger. Either by sizing it myself or by picking between a predefined list of sizes. (using my own style sheet would be quite cool)

it requires a tiny hackage, but it seems simple enough.

I would really like a bigger search box so I can see all of the options on the dropdown. Can it be done?

If you right-click when cursor is in an open area of the toolbars, you will get a list of installed toolbars where you can decide which ones you want available.
At the bottom of this list is the option "Customise".
Click "Customise" and a box of items containing stuff you can add/remove to/from toolbars appears.
Ignore box. Move cursor to toolbars and you will see cursor changes to "hand" shape.
Move hand to google search box, hold right-click button and move box to menu bar (one with "file","edit","view",etc.).
Because menu bar has less items on it, the google search bar will expand to fit empty space, dramatically increasing it's size.
Hope that helps,

The best way is to go to "view" toolbars then click on menu bar and your google toolbar will move from the right to the left. Then put the cursor on the black line between "search"and "more" and stretch to desired length. Then go back to view>toolbars>menu bar to put it back and the menu bar should be above the google toolbar. Hope that helps.
