In Google Analytics is there any way to view traffic by time-of-day?

This is one of those views I got used to in previous stats packages and I can't find it here. Perhaps it was deemed not very useful, but I think there is a role for knowing usage patterns over a 24 hour period.

I believe not. It's unfortunate.

Most of the Visitor Trending pages can be viewed hourly (visits, pageviews, uniques, time on site)

Oh there it is! The screenshot tells me all I need to know: I missed what was right in front of my nose. Thanks, Ted. If Satisfaction gave me the ability to buy you a virtual gift right now, I would.

The location for this toggle option has changed; it's now a little clock button in the top right beneath the dates of the report.

It should reflect the time-zone settings of your account.

How do we do this in the new UI?

Doesn't GA need a full 15 hours or so to properly analyze traffic? So then viewing the current hourly incremental data would be inaccurate, but much later than that would be okay?

Wonder if that's a reason it's not available in the new UI--because people can make hasty judgements on hourly incremental traffic???

Would appreciate anyone's help for clarity.

With the latest version of Google Analytics, go to the Content Overview section and in the chart area, click "Hourly"
