Good morning tobenalexander;
Currently there is no way to delete comics in any of our apps. This is on the list of todos for our complete ipad overhaul. In the meantime, please send me a list of comics that you would like to delete from your My Collection to audreyz at graphicly dot com I can remove them manually.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply!
I think I might be able to do it an easier way by deleting the graphic.ly app and then reinstalling it...but not downloading the comics I've already read.
Thanks for your help.

Ah yes; sorry my B, If you just want to delete locally download comics on ipad and not to permanently remove them from your My Collection; uninstalling and reinstalling the app is the way to go!
Sorry on the mix-up!
Thanks and we hope to have a better way soon!

This is a terrible answer. There is no reason why the only way to remove downloaded data is to uninstall and reinstall the application. Please fix this soon. I was just about ready to switch from Comixology to you guys but if you're missing *basic* functionality like this, then I'm not sure the grass *is* greener on the other side here.

This is the reason I'm sticking with Comixology.At least I can delete stuff I've read on there, and their app is now way faster that Graphicly.

This seems like a real simple thing to fix.

It's been months now and still their newsstand apps don't even allow you to delete from the device. Nobody in their right mind wants to delete from their "My Collection", but everyone wants to be able to read a comic and delete it from their local device and have the option to re-download later.

Graphic.ly still hasn't fixed this most basic of features, so in my mind the whole company just doesn't get it. They just don't understand what comic readers want at all. They have the hubris to think that their way is best.

Comixology, on the other hand, gets it. I can download all my comics to my device, read them, and then delete them to free up space when done. And I can redownload to my heart's content at a later date.

And I like having all my comics in one app and not spread out among several news stand apps. Graphic.ly doesn't get it.

Epic fail on Graphic.ly's part. I wanted to support them due to the iFanboy relationship, but I just can't.

Mike, I understand where you are coming from. As a company, we are focused on helping publishers and creators get their work out in as many marketplaces as imaginable. For us, that means making hard choices as to where we focus our time.

The feature you are looking for is on the roadmap, and is planned for release shortly.

In terms of the Newsstand apps, that is a limitation of Apple. The idea is to subscribe to a specific title, rather than an "app." We also believe that each publisher should be easy to find under their own brands, versus being buried in a random third party app. This is why you are seeing us more and more drive people to the publisher's Facebook page, their names in the marketplaces, etc.

I am appreciative of the effort to support us because of our ownership of iFanboy, but dont support us.

Support the creators and publishers that are using our platform to distribute and promote their work.

We will continue to improve the Newsstand app, expect a release in the very near term.

And, of course, if you would like to discuss it further, give me a call 720-248-8499, shoot me an email micah@graphicly.com, or hit me up on IM - micah@graphicly.com (GTALK).

Thanks!

another question - I had 2 downloads interrupted, and they won't restart downloading; nor of course can I delete them to attempt it again. Any fix for this?

Good afternoon ardrous1;
Sounds like the comics probably partially downloaded and now are not re-starting their download. I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the ipad app to make sure to clear out any bad downloads, and then re-attempt to download your comics.
Please write back if this is not working for you.
Thanks
