Using my IPad Graphicly app, there is no option to edit my collection. Such as, moving a comic into a different collection I created.

Hi bulldurham,

Hmm. Yes, I see the problem you're having. Collections used to display on the left in landscape mode, letting you drag-and-drop comics between them, but it doesn't seem to be there now (at least in iOS 5). Let me look into this a little and see if there's a quick work-around.

If you could tell me what version of software your iPad is running, that might help speed things up.

Sorry for the trouble!

When I click on the collections button, then edit, and tap on a collection name, the name briefly becomes editable before the collections window disappears and I go to that collection, making it impossible to rename collections.

So we've discovered a workaround that will give you back the collections panel and let you sort, arrange, and edit collections. It's awkward, but will hopefully tide you over until we get a proper fix out.

  1. In the Graphicly app, exit whatever comic you may be reading, and go to the store by clicking the "Store" button in the upper left of your collection screen.

  2. Press the home button on your iPad to exit the Graphicly app.

  3. Double-click the iPad's home button to bring up the "Recent app" list on the bottom of the screen.

  4. Tap and hold on the Graphicly app in the recent app list.

  5. A red minus sign will appear in the upper-left of the Graphicly icon. Tap it. This will completely shut down the app so it is no longer running in the background.

  6. Make sure your iPad is in the landscape orientation, and relaunch the Graphicly app. You shoudl start up in the store screen.

  7. Keeping the iPad in landscape orientation, tap the "My Library" button in the upper left.

  8. You should now see your collections screen with your collections on a panel on the left. At this point you can rotat your iPad however is most comfortable for you. You can drag, drop, and rearrange comics in these collections. You can also edit these collection names.

Thank you very much. The work-a-round works perfectly.
