As profiles are validated in the Lab Wizard app, new profile versions become available in the Versions app. From here, you can apply the new profile versions to affected services.

After applying a new profile version to a service, the system runs two copies of the service: one with the previous profile version and another with the new profile version. The Service Release Time determines how much time you have to test services with the new profile version. Navigate to Versions > Settings to verify or change the Service Release Time.

Important: If you wish to revert services to the previous profile version, you must do so before the Service Release Time expires or the system will automatically finalize the services committed.

1. From the VOS LaunchPad or drop-down list, select Versions.

2. Select the Profiles tab.
Available profile updates are shown to the left.

3. Select the profile update that you would like to commit.
The affected services are shown to the right.

4. Click Commit to apply the profile update to a particular service, or click Commit all selected to apply the profile update to all affected services.

Note: There might be a brief interruption to services while the system performs the update.

5. Before the Service Release Time expires, test services with the new profile version and then do one of the following:
  • To keep the services running the new profile version, click Finalize or Finalize services committed.
  • To revert services to the previous profile version, click Undo or Undo all.
