Analysis Coverage 2-way only?

As part of Analyze Tests on the Coverage Matrix page, why is the sliding bar only applicable for 2-way interaction? It would seem that if Create Tests tab can accommodate up to 6-way, then there should be a version of the Coverage Matrix that should correspond to that.

Christina,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately, the Hexawise Matrix Chart you ask about is inherently two dimensional.

One Value is at the top of the chart above a column. Another Value is at the side to the left of a row. The point where the column and row intersect represents a pair being covered (if green) or a pair NOT being covered (if red).

The only way to use that same "matrix" approach to communicate coverage of a triplet of values would be to start displaying three dimensional Rubik's Cube-like images...

No one is looking forward to the advent of 3-dimensional holographic displays more than me. My brother John and I have been talking since the early 1980's about how cool it would be to watch live football broadcasts being played "on a table" with little holographic athletes running around. When that day comes, or perhaps a little before, we'll start to work on getting our 3-D Hexawise matrix charts ready.  Until then, we'll have to make do with the orange 3-way, 4-way, 5-way, and 6-way coverage charts in Hexawise. The orange version of the coverage chart is (currently) located on the Analyze Tests screen but on the left-most tab (vs. the right-most tab that the Matrix Chart is located on).

Thanks again for your question! Please keep your questions coming.
