What if the system I am testing has parts that appear only when another question is answered a certain way. How do I account for this in Hexawise?

Seth,

Good question.

The default "pattern" of Hexawise tests is that all your tests will have the same number of Values. In other words, if you have a plan with 10 Parameters, each test will have exactly 10 Values that are specified for a tester to execute.

But often a system you are testing will have some conditional branching logic that will result in some steps being "skipped" if certain conditions are present. In Hexawise, a common way that designers indicate that a test condition is not applicable to be included in a given scenario is to specify "N/A" instead of a specific Value.
