Valid MP3 file not recognized as audio

The site will not share mp3 @ http://cdn.periphery.org/audio/07. Melodic Toad.mp3. Says it is not an audio file. Downloading and playing it works, and the MIME type is correct, so not sure what the problem is!

Could you give the full URL please? What you've written there isn't resolving for me.

The full file is at here. Sorry, the auto-parsing made it a bad link.

Are you saying the domain itself doesn't resolve? I have another MP3 in that same directory on my huffduffer feed right now, if that helps.

Huffduffer reports the following URL as an invalid audio link:

http://www.twis.org/audio/podpress_tr...

And yet it is NOT invalid. What up?

I actually found the solution to this myself. The problem for me was files with spaces. Huffduffer doesn't like this. If you manually convert the spaces to %20 then you should be good to go. Seems like it'd be an easy fix from the backend side as well ;)

norelpref, the link that you point to (annoyingly) redirects to a different URL. You'd need to huffduff that final URL.

Zac, thanks for the heads-up on the issue with spaces in the URL. I've tweaked the validation accordingly.

I seem to be having the same problem with this file:

http://www.mlj.org.uk/mlj.nsf/f/Mind,...

It could be spaces again, or something else? I tried retyping the spaces but that didn't seem to help me
