Credits that have the attribute "also as" (due to the person's credit appearing in multiple places in the same film with different spellings/variations of the name) are not displaying correctly when viewing IMDb. They are displaying only as "as" instead of "also as".
There are several credits about which I contacted the IMDb help desk because they needed to be listed as "also as". I verified that the person's name was listed multiple different ways for the same type of credit in the same film.
The IMDb Help Desk responded that they had made the updates, but I never saw them processed when I viewed the filmographies again. I was frustrated that it seemed they had told me something that wasn't true.
However, when performing some additional updates for the same titles, I now noticed that when I am in Update View, I can actually see that the credits were updated to "also as," however viewing the pages in normal IMDb browsing mode, they do not show as "also as."
Examples:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5711672/fullcredits/

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1446823/fullcredits/

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2614814/fullcredits/

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9601092/fullcredits/

The IMDb system needs to be fixed so that credits that have the attribute "also as" actually display as "also as" when browsing IMDb.

As Peter points out, the answer you have provided does not really make sense. The IMDb guidelines make a distinction between "as" and "also as." "Also as" is to be used in special situations where a person's name appears in the credits under multiple different spellings for the same credit. It provides a distinction to show that the person was credited in more than 1 way. If the credits are listed as "as" then it means that the person only had a single credit, under that particular spelling.
"Also as" is part of the IMDb guidelines, therefore IMDb should be displaying the attribute when used correctly.
