Thanks for the link: I read that in this case it is not used to indicate "(archive footage)".

Sarah Wayne Callies shouldn't be credited in any matter for footage from a previous episode. If you know the previous episode where the footage originated, you can add that as a movie connection.
Unfortunately I don't remember from which previous episode the flashback is taken, and I don't want to watch the episodes again just to add a "edited from" connection.

If there is enough details of the flashback scene, I've had great lucky googling those details to find the episode. Regardless of whether you want to go to the trouble of finding the flashback episode, the Sarah Wayne Callies credit should be deleted.

Since she appears in the episode, her presence in the list as "(uncredited)" is correct. In my opinion there is no reason to remove her.

Since she solely appears from footage of another title (which is why she doesn't qualify as "archive credit") that should disqualify her from being listed as uncredited. While not generally specified in the cast guide, it follows logically like this is true. For example, from the guide:
"Only "archive" footage that is used directly in the film is eligible. If an actor appears in a film shown as being watched on TV in a scene of another film, then the first film clip is not eligible as archive footage. In other words, James Stewart's footage from Vertigo shown in a scene in Twelve Monkeys where Bruce Willis' character goes to the movies is not eligible."
If Sarah Wayne Callies is listed as uncredited here for footage from another title, then James Stewart should be credited on Twelve Monkeys as uncredited.

To add a bit of clarification: cast guidelines suggest "movielink" rule: when there is a footage from previous entry used as a flashback in a continuation, be it an episode or a previous movie, that does not grant a listing, unless credited. However there are certain exceptions when uncredited archive footage should be listed: The "Forrest Gump" rule suggests that use of archive footage as an integral part of narrative grants credit. An often case with archive footage of politicians seamlessly edited into fiction titles counts, but stock footage from movies edited as a seamless part of a narrative (as a flashback or insert shot) will likely merit a listing. Example given in guidelines is rather interesting: 1999 movie The Limey uses archive footage from 1967 movie Poor Cow as a flashback, which grants Carol White and Ann-Margaret listings with both "(archive footage)" and "(uncredited)".
