Hello.

It's been maybe 2 months or more that every time I want to upload a poster or a picture to a proyect I get always the same message:

I have "Chrome" and also "Firefox", same thing happens with both. I have "adblock", even if I disactivate it, nothing changes...

I've tried with all kind of images, I CAN'T UPLOAD ANYTHING...

Where's the problem?

Please help.

Thanks for your time. ;)

May sound silly, but....You must select the image type to upload.
Have you done this?

What image. What title?
Post the full image here.
I will upload it to see if the image itself is at issue.

Otherwise:

It sounds like you may have a software issue on your device. Virus protection. Or a virus itself.

It happens in with any project. Testing with all kinds of images.

I don't think it's a virus, because I can upload other images in other websites. The only "virus protection" that I have is Avast, but I don't think I can be the problem.

Hi David -

I would encourage you to check the following:

Please check and make sure your image is a JPEG, between 50KB and 20MB, and has an RGB color space.  If you are unsure of the image file type, please open you image via an image editor (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw) and resave as a JPEG. Set the Preset to "Web" which will convert the image to the RGB color space.  All images intended for the web should be RGB, images intended for printing may be RGB or CMYK.

Check your browser.  While image upload is supported on all newer browsers, please make sure your browser is completely up to date.  If you continue to have issues, please try another browser.  We recommend either Firefox or Chrome for image uploads.

Check your internet connection. If you are having trouble uploading very large files (18-20MB), please try compressing your image slightly.  If you have an unstable internet connection, a smaller image may help. Please note, the larger your image the better it will display on IMDb, so only compress your image if necessary.

Lastly, if you continue to have issues with your browsers or internet connection, if possible try uploading from a different computer at a different location (i.e. your home or work).  While unlikely, there may be an internal setting within your computer or network which is interfering with the upload process.

Hello.

The images that I tried to upload are between 50KB and 20MB. Actually I remember that the site told me when the images were not between those KB and MB. All images are also in RGB.

My problem still the same. And I used both "Chrome" and "Firefox" (they are also both updated). Maybe I will use another computer, because this problem doesn't vanish...
