The "F-Rating" is to identify films (or TV series) that fairly represent women on screen and behind the camera. See http://f-rated.org/about/
Are you saying that this isn't the case here?

When did you make the submission to remove these keywords at episode level? Have you given enough time for your submissions to be processed, accepted & updated in the database?
What is (or are) the Submission Reference number(s)?

f-rated Used for any title which is either directed by a woman and/or written by a womantriple-f-rated Used for any title which is directed by a woman, written by a woman and features significant women on screen in their own right
This does not seem to me that it could ever be applicable at a series level unless every single episode is written or directed by a woman.

I can kind of agree with you for this specific, rare case. However, this series does have an end year, so I don't know if no one bothered to close it out or if it is indeed on going. If it is an ongoing series, these keywords could become obsolete at any time which would force a conscientious contributor to have to delete the series level keywords and add them to the individual episodes that they are now appropriate too.

Also there's "Lasagna Cat": first season in 2008, second... In 2017. With signs that work never stopped.

Every episode of this series that has keywords has these two keywords, so they should exist only at the series level. Otherwise, it's unnecessary duplication.
And, why should these two keywords be any different from other keywords?

Also, these keywords seem odd for a series that may be ongoing. It's from 2016 but doesn't have an end date. Any subsequent episode could have a male writer or director which would then make them not applicable at the series level.

"f-rated" just sounds too much life "f-word."
Perhaps "f-rated," "triple-f-rated," etc. should be banned for series level listing, unless validated for a series that has completed its run, and just allotted to episodes.

Moreover, the information conveyed can be derived from crossing related data attached to the title (gender of director, writer, etc.), so they are redundant, and do not provide the specific information expected from keywords.
My 2 cents.

I was able to see that your requests to remove the episode level keywords were not accepted as many TV Shows can have different directors per episode (some of which might not fulfill the f-rated criteria). Concerning your feedback about re-naming the keyword, I have passed along your comments to our editorial team for review/consideration.

We see no issue with keeping the keyword at the series and episode level, as long as it applies to both. In this case Andrea Shawcross is listed as the creator of the series which would make the f-rated keyword apply to the series listing and all associated episodes, however the individual episodes also qualify as f-rated because they were also directed by a woman.
F-Rated is a recognized industry term and as such will not be renamed on IMDb.

The "f-rated" keyword, I believe, was originated by IMDb in a publicity release. I have never heard of it as recognized by the industry. Could you provide websites that refer to this keyword as "industry recognized"?
I guess "f-rated" is "the holiest of the holies," "the most sacred of the sacred," the most protected and special of all keywords?

Yes we do.
The F Rating was first created in 2014 by Bath Film Festival's Holly Tarquini and adopted by IMDb.
Thanks,
Will
