This is my second "Unable to Verify" problem in 1 day.
Contribution:#200203-235805-649000

I was trying to add the Birthdate of Dean-Charles Chapman with EVIDENCES:

I even have a link of him talking where and when he was born, and a link to his Wikipedia page. Apparently, that is not enough.

I'm not contributing until that is fixed, because the IMDb staff is making an abusive use of the "Unable to Verify".

It is scandalous, I can't add info without having to report the issue to getsatisfaction.

This is a spam of "Unable to Verify", I don't care if all my complaints are the reason why none of my polls are going live. This issue is major on IMDb.

What's going on? Are you OK, Cinephile? Please don't get angry to the editors. I know you are extremely frustrated because of the "Unable to verify" part and some editors are having difficult reading by pressing the "declined" button and declare the reason "unable to verify" as a bad result. Just calm down and an IMDb representive will decide to get rid of the "unable to verify" once and for all. Also, please don't use the URL address from Wikipedia, because Wikipedia is not allowed according to the IMDb guidelines. So I am giving you advice next time and don't use Wikipedia before you submit. Please give it some until the reply within 24 hours. I hope you will be fine as long as you don't yell and angry to the editors. Thanks for your time.

cinephile.
Neither of those sources are acceptable to IMDb.
I know this because I have seen those sources denied previously by staff.

You heard what Ed just said Wikipedia and a Google search are unacceptable sources resulting an "Unable to verify". Cinephile, If you want to resubmit use a reputable source like a magazine, newspaper or a news article from a TV news network or a cable news channel or if you'd like use a social media URL link either Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn coming from an about or a description page. OK? Thanks.

I resubmitted with more URL, I have to keep calm, I'm writing things too fast without thinking, and as you said the issue will probably be acknowledged by the staff.

Hi there, as noted, wikipedia is not a valid source (although any citations within the article could be provided as evidence). A video with someone speaking is also not evidence. Please review our guidelines.
