I have more unlisted and/or complicated credits but if I really cared about credit I'd fix those too.
I was in college for animation and she for sign language. My partner from 1993-1996 was Belinda Grimaudo who married Stewart Grayburn (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0337036) after she dumped me becoming Belinda Grayburn.
Again - 2 listings for one person:

I don't know what else I could do to prove this all to be true, other than why would I lie about a few nobodies.

It still doesn't work.

Did you submit the a name merge for these two names? It takes several days to a week for name merging to process. If not, I can merge the names for you.
I tried before I first posted a week ago.
I would have given up then but I got an email about Eboy's reply.
I tried 21 hours ago.
Failed again.
All the information is in the first post above. (Also, they had a kid, perhaps more.)
Please fix it as you see fit.

I just tried to merge them again. It generally takes 3-5 days for name merges based on my own experience.

In your case, go to the name page with the larger Roman numeral and submit a name correction. Type the new name this way:
Upton, Paul (I)
Acknowledge any yellow warning messages about merging the name page. After the submission, give at least 2-3 days (or more) for the submission to process.
