Can you post links to the pages you think should be "merged?" It will help clarify your question.
Normally, someone being credited for shows/films, will have a Name Page in his/her name.
Like Harrison Ford whose page is at www.imdb.com/name/nm0000148 (note it says 'name' in the link).
That person may or may not also have a User Account to access the site and use its features.
Mine is bluesmanSF at http://www.imdb.com/user/ur10114372/ (note that the link says this is a User Account.
I can then join IMDbPro by logging in to my User Account and subscribing to the service. If I were, in fact, Harrison Ford, I'd then go to IMDbPro view of the site and "claim" that page as mine, allowing me to add photos and resume page.
The User Account and Name Page remain separate things with separate functions and can/should never be "merged" in any way.
If you, for some reason, created a new Name Page via Pro, while you already had an existing one...instead of claiming that existing page...you then need to "merge" them. It's an easy thing to do. But first, post links to the pages so others can be sure what can/needs to be done.
Edit to add, I am also thinking maybe you mean you created a resume page via Pro and expected for that information to be added to the actual IMDb Name Page...that does not happen. If a credit needs to be added to the site, which is title-based, you need to go to the title's page, click "edit page" and add to the cast/crew via the online forms. Nothing gets moved automatically from an attached resume to the actual database.
Good luck!

This is display only, and only affects the Pro pages; it does not get added to the underlying database and will disappear if the Pro account lapses.
Here is a Pro page that is entirely Resume data :
Note all the asterisks.
