24 Redemption

Is there a reason "24 Redemption" has only the title "24" for the page?

The title that appears onscreen for the show is 24 Redemption as well as all advertising packaging for the show when it was released.

The AKA list has various working titles and the final release name of 24 Redemption; I can't find any reason to call this only "24" since that conflicts with the series name and it doesnt seem to have ever been called just 24

So, shouldn't the name be "24 Redemption" ? since that's what it was released as?

Hi Vincent -

If the title was first released under the name "24 Redemption", the listing should be listed with this title.  P{lease submit a title correction through our online Update form, the format should look like:  24: Redemption (2008) (TV)

The AKA list has ... the final release name of 24 Redemption.
The AKA list shows "24: Redemption"  as a USA "promotional title"
but also as the "World-wide" "English title" / "DVD box title":

Confusingly, the fan-edited 24 Wiki (not an official or necessarily reliable
source of information) claims that "the subtitle 'Redemption' does not
appear anywhere except in promotional material."

(From: http://24.wikia.com/wiki/24_Redemption#Background_information_and_notes,
5th bullet point.)

But you say the subtitle "Redemption"  does appear on-screen in the movie?

And as the IMDb AKA list says, the title "24: Redemption"
is used on DVD boxes, as seen here:

... The title that appears onscreen for the show is 24 Redemption ....
I believe you.

I personally haven't seen the movie recently.
Just to show proof, would you like to post a screenshot showing the title?
(Note: this is not an official request; I'm not with IMDb!)

I assume that the edition you have seen may be a recent or current edition.
I wonder if some early editions of the movie might not have shown
the Redemption  title on-screen?  I don't know.

It seemed puzzling to note that the fan-edited Wiki still claims that the
"Redemption"  title "does not appear anywhere except in promotional material"?
But I've just now checked that wiki page's history:  That note was added long ago,
back in 2008. Perhaps it may have been accurate then, but not anymore.
