A 500 error indicates that the server had a problem, quite often it is just a temporary overload of requests. Normally it will clear up fairly quickly.

Are you still having this problem?

If so, can you provide a little more information.

Still having the problem, happens several times an hour 24/7

Happens on Main Boards (religion, politics, music, games, contributors, soapbox, etc)

6 more hours have passed and no acknowledgement?

Reported hundreds of threads that when clicked on, open in the "500 error" (all from the Politics board) the last few days and no staff response whatsoever?

Hi Devouring Time -

Unfortunately I have been unable to replicate this problem and haven't seen any other reports from other users.  Can you clarify if you are only seeing the 500 error when accessing Message Boards?  Can you access IMDb title and name pages?

Additionally, can you also confirm if you have tried accessing the site from different browsers?  Please provide the browser details you are using so we can look into this further.

I also had this problem.  After viewing "Devouring Time's" post, I attempted to view posts on the Politics Board and also had the 500 Error.  There was a report button on the page and I clicked that.  It said the report was submitted.  However, I am now able to view the Politics Board (though heaven know why I would want to!)

I posted a link of other people complaining, did you not open the link and read it...?

I also clicked on the "Report This" button more than a hundred times and sent the accompanying email, more than a hundred of them.
