"New title" entry date problem

In the NEW TITLE box on a new title I am entering, the year was mistakenly entered as 1998, when it should be 2006. When I went to change it, the system wanted to start a whole new entry. How can I change the year for the title to 2006 without having to start over, since there are HUNDREDS of credits and other data already entered for this title, which is made up of a collection of five shorts.
(The shorts/segments were produced in 1998, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, which is the reason for the mistake.)

If you mean that you are currently entering the information in the form, I think you should be able to change the year in the box and confirm the title, after which the data should reappear. Try saving the submission first to be safe, if you have not already done so.

If the title has already been submitted with the wrong year, you may be able to resubmit it with the right year, or you can correct it later if the title is accepted.

I save my submissions after every few entries, since both IE and Firefox (my preference) have a tendency to lock up or close suddenly.

I have not submitted it yet. Other than submitting the entries/title, how can the title be "confirmed?"

You said that when you changed the year the system seemed to start over. I assume this means it asks you once again, "We already have titles which are similar to ..., are you sure it's not one of these?" What I mean is that if you choose "This is not an existing title", I think you will be able to continue with your submission.

Unfortunately not.
