Was watching a With DeNiro & Bon Jovi, tonight when I decided to go to Jon Bon's page.Wow what a mess. When I went to his actors credits I found all these Music Video Shorts clogging up his page. Good thing he does not do commercials or it would be worse.
Question: Should those belong in the "Self" listings?
How are you to weed through that distraction.
What if somebody started to do that to Sinatra and Presley Etc.?

I agree with you those video credits should be listed as 'Self'. I would never look at someone's credits all mixed up like that. If I wanted to see his movie credits I would view it like this:
They are saying it stays as is and meets guidelines for cluttering! LOL

"An artist is playing a character in a music video as they are performing, and should not be listed as Himself/Herself which should be reserved for talk show appearances, documentaries etc. To reflect this the artist should be added with the character name as their own name, i.e. Ellie Goulding, unless playing a clearly defined character/s in the video i.e. Taylor Swift in the video You Belong with Me who is listed as Popular Cheerleader/Studious Bandmember."
