I work for a cultural center and we often screen documentaries/ foreign films that are otherwise very difficult to find and/or do not screen in the traditional theatre venues. I would like to see a section where I can share details about special film screenings with the public. We often host post-film Q&A sessions with the directors, producers, actors, and other relevant filmmakers.

I'm another IMDb user and like your idea. IMDb considers implementing suggestions based on the difficulty of implementing the idea and the popularity of the idea. I recommend that you ask your friends, family and colleagues to like this idea using the yellow like button on the upper right hand corner of this page. I've already liked and followed it.
I also recommend that you respectfully promote your suggestion on your website and social media. There are social media buttons on this page that you can use to promote your idea.

Until such time as IMDb implements your idea, you may wish to discuss films on IMDb's message boards. IMDb has message boards that relevant to the events you sponsor at your cultural center. I would caution you against actively promoting your cultural center, since that would violate IMDb's terms and conditions. However, you can provide a link to your cultural center in your message board signature. You can also mention the cultural center on your message board profile page. To post on IMDb's message board, you will need a verified IMDb account.
