Acception of Genre submissions is still a puzzlement!

I am on the verge of stopping the submission of genres.  Again and again, genres that are appropriate for a title are not being accepted.

Here's the most blatant example of such ineptitude:

180424-213616-1730002018-04-24 21:36:16A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
Keywords -  9 items corrected, 27 items deleted
Genres -  1 item added

All other Nightmare on Elm Street titles have both Horror and Thriller as genres, but the submission of Thriller as a genre for this title is not accepted.  Why?  How does it specifically differ from other Elm Street titles?

Our editors reviewed the title listings associated with this movie franchise and confirmed that the "Thriller" genre should not be listed, as the "Horror" genre is correct.  The incorrect 'Thriller' genres will be removed from the other related 'Nightmare on Elm Street' titles shortly.

Unbelievable! Dawn of the Dead movies have both Horror and Thriller as genres.So do the Halloween movies.  The Hellraiser movies.  The Pet Semetary movies.  The Last House on the Left movies. Etc.,etc., etc. The editors need to reevaluate their genre decisions.  The fact that all the other Elm Street movies previously had both genres also illustrates that you are negating the views and decisions of contributors and previous editors.
What is going on?
Please bring this to Col's attention, and please respond.
As for now, with such supercilious and arrogant decisions, I cannot, in good faith,  continue to make genre contributions.
