I accidentally submitted the first episode of a project I worked on as a short-film because I apparently wasn't paying attention during the setup process.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for letting us know about this.

Can you clarify whether the series for this episode currently has a title page on the site? If so, please reply with the IMDb URL of the series page and we can amend/advise as appropriate.

For further information please this guide, detailing how to submit new titles to IMDb.

Kind regards,
Charlie

It does not, I was creating it when I accidentally submitted it as a short film.

Hi Alex,

You are best off submitting a new title for the parent series, then once this is live you can submit a title correction on the short film to change it to an episode of the series. Please include a link to the new series once you've added it and we can advise on the next steps.

Will

Thanks, now you need to go to https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10249896/ and hit edit page, select title correction and hit continue, then you need to write the correct format for an episode - in this case "Neon Genesis Evangelion Alternative Saga" (2019) {Deployment (#1.1)} and add an explanation so that staff are aware of the reasons for the change.

Hit check these updates, then you will need to acknowledge the warning, hit re-check these updates, then the item will turn green and you will see the submit these updates button to submit the change.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Will
