Hi folks. Having a real issue removing an actress from my film. She has asked to be removed as she has now moved into teaching and it's potentially going to cost her her job as some of the scenes are suggestive and she is now in a heavily religious country who are frowning on it. Please help as I'm getting the request denied due to non-verification.

Hi Will, I understand this but this credit is potentially going to lose someone their job, and I'm simply not comfortable with that.
What would be the next step then - just remove the whole title?

I think the response would be the same. IMDb will not remove factual information. The title exists, was publicly screened and has a know cast list.

If it's possible, the best bet is to remove the film from public view if you have the full control over it. Someone else I know had this same issue but all his stuff was on YouTube only so he simply removed those videos as much as it pained him to do so.

Jon Tomlinson and that simply won't work too, because numerous people will be perfectly able to prove that title existed.

It's the content that's the problem though, not that it exists, if her employers cannot find a copy to view then they cannot take issue, if its only a web based short uploaded in one place then it can be solved this way, if it is spread around in other places out of the director's control, then it will be more of a problem. I'm just trying to help because I know IMDB will never remove this factual information for him.
