I would like to have get notifications about the movies I am watching. I am pretty busy so sometimes I forget to buy a ticket for a good seat in the cinema. I would like to receive notifications about the soon release of the movie and variants of seats in my local cinema.

If you check the Site Preferences FAQ, you will see that IMDb will send you an email when Titles listed in your Watchlist are changed if your choose that option and are in the US, stating:
  1. E-mail: Watchlist updates -> If you have an IMDb Watchlist, we will send you an email when a title in your watchlist becomes available to watch (e.g. goes into wide release in your country). If you uncheck this box, you will opt out of receiving this type of e-mail communication from IMDb. You will still continue to receive other e-mail communication from IMDb.These emails are currently only being sent to customers in the United States. Check back for updates on emails for customers in other countries.

You can find out where it will be showing near you on the Showtimes page in a number of countries, but not all. This is handled by West World Media, and IMDb has paid for a number of countries but not all that they supply.

As for ticketing, that is also contracted out, and is not available everywhere. I know it is not available in Canada, so I suspect it may only be available in the US.
