I am not taking about executive producer credit, as this is easy to add.
I noticed under some names, it simple says "executive" and is greyed out.
It's not a blue hot link like other roles. It just says "executive" in grey and you can't click on it.
It usually appears on pages for people who are, well, industry executives.
How is this special tag added and processed? IS it special? Or is it added like any other tag?
Sort of seems like the magic "blue check mark" on social media.
Is this a feature of IMDB Pro?

Hi, Betty Boop. Please provide a URL to an example of the pertinent content, for better context.

Here is one example, but I have seen it a few times:

Betty Boop,
The Executive title you listed involves IMDbPro account members. For the URL you provided, the person listed his job title in the Contacts section for a specific company, which you would only see on the IMDbPro site. The job title appears as a non-clickable link on the IMDb site.
I hope this helps.

So I would need IMDB Pro to add the "Executive" title to my own page? Thanks for your reply.

You would need to access Pro to add yourself as staff for a company, but I don't think you would need to maintain an active subscription to remain listed.

Peter's point is correct. You only need to find someone with IMDbPro access to add the contact information (and you can do that yourself via an IMDbPro free trial).

Thanks for your response, Col. Once added via an IMDbPro free trial, the executive tag will remain after the trial expires?
I understand that photos, for example, disappear if the subscription is not active.

Via an active IMDbPro subscription, you can also search for executives. The following is some trivia. The youngest person to have an IMDb name entry with verified DOB information and have an executive position (supposedly) in an agency is actor Dominic Salvatore. Actor Dmitri Schuyler-Linch, "principal" of Dim SkyLine Productions, came of age just two days ago.
