Adding to a 'Character Biography' either doesn't work, or it's not straight forward. You click a character and find "This character biography is empty. Please add a character biography by clicking here." You click that and get a dialog box that has "Add a character biography". You click that and you get the "Character page editing guidelines". --- At that point there is no "Go here to add.." link. This should be a quick link (with the guidelines a suggested link). For me, it's a causal courtesy to add info onto this site - this is not quick nor does it seem even serviceable. Maybe I'm just blind, but maybe a clearer set of steps is needed...

When I click on the Add a character biography, the system opens a text entry box with Save and Preview buttons (plus a Cancel text link) underneath.

Is there any chance your cursor moved and you clicked on the Visit our Character Biography Help to learn more. above at the right side of the dialog box?

When I attempt to add a character bio, it takes me to the instruction page, with info on having an approved account, which I have. If I select 'yes' to the "has your question been answered", it takes me back to the home page. Then, I end up staring all over again, and the same thing keeps happening.

My original statement stands, I'm still getting the same results... [BTW I'm using Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer with Win7 64bit].
This is unfortunate because I don't care that much, I just wanted to help out some.. Thanx for the follow-up.
