Hi there!

I work at an agency and I'm trying to add production company info to a client's page; he has two producer credits but those were before the company was created and as such aren't actually credited on the movie/tv movie that I would list them on.

In order to get the prod. co. info to appear on his profile, do I have to make the company its own IMDb page? And if so, how do I include those credits he wants to list?

More detail is always helpful. If you had provided the company name, I could have given much short and more specific help.

I am guessing that your client is either a principal, executive or employee of a relatively new Production company.

Updates to Contacts (which this would fall under) or Companies (which this also falls under) can only be submitted from a Pro account, but any Pro account can submit them.

Company pages can be created in two ways: the most common way for a Production Company to be set up is by crediting it on a Title page.

Is his company currently listed on IMDb, with a credit to a Title (or Titles)? If so you can add him to the company.

If the company is not on IMDb, you can add it by adding a Employer item to his Contact data. When you check the item after entering the name, you will be shown a list of Companies; simply check the radio button beside "Add this as a new company".

Be sure to check the  instructions on the correct format for Company Names, because IMDb is likely to reject a Company if the format is incorrect.
