It'd be good to have better quoting of posts on the message boards.
You could have a "quote" option under the "reply" that would automatically fill in the quote tags with the content of the post you are replying to.
Even better would be if you could add a link back to the quoted topic, which is handy because some nested discussion can mean the original is back on a previous page and it can be tricky searching for it to see if someone is being quoted out of context or to see what they are replying to. Something that'd look like this:
