I want to add a new certification for Turkey. This one will be PG: Parental Guidance for under 7
How can I do this?
Thanks

Under 7 Years in Turkey is a "G" classification.
Go to the movie in question and at the bottom choose the yellow button "Edit this Page"
Look for the basic data and Choose certificates and select add 1 item.
Follow the directions on that page

Thanks

Ed

Ed, I understand this is a NEW classification.
So Murat, please wait for an IMDb staff to acknowledge it.

Meanwhile, please provide a link testifying this is new. Of course a page in English would be welcome, if any!

Well, what would prevent the Turkish administration to decide so?

Sorry, Ed, but "Turkey:G" is not the certificate the OP is talking about. It's not a new classification either, Vincent, but they're in use for over 10 years. Currently there are two official Turkish ratings which need to be added to the dropdown menu:
  • Turkey:7A
  • Turkey:15A

OK, ljd, and thanks.
But this page you are linking to dates back to Jan 2012, and I cannot spot today's equivalent.
The request made above is still consistent: there could be a new certificate for children under 7 as long as they are with an adult (it would fit between the first 2 certificates above : general audience, and for children above 7)

Edit: unless it is already covered by the 7A certificate, but I would rather see it as: for audience above 7 with an adult.

You're correct, Vincent. The above law has been amended this year...

I can't find any trace that the previous classification has changed. Regardless, since those ratings were in use at some time, they ought to be added to the database anyway .

Cool chart, ljdoncel.
How long does it take you to make up your charts out of curiosity?
Your Images are so great.
Expanding on what Dan said the other day, it would be so nice to have a single post that was closed to comments that had all your charts and graphs in one place for use by us. Maybe someday IMDb will adopt those into the help topics, but until then using them now would be so nice.

Cheers

Ed

Thank you very much, Ed. For the chart above I simply used Powerpoint and exported the slide as an image...

Hi all,

I've added 7A and 15A internally which should both become available in the next 24 hours.

Regards,
Will
