Adding quotes

I've followed the instructions for adding a Quote, same as I've done for years, but now it is rejected. And I can't see why.

Although you only have one person available to make the quoted text, you still need to select that person. I don't see that person as selected (highlighted). Just tap/click on that person, and check the update again.
