I need to add actors names to IMDB page of our director.  I tried doing it through edit page but I can't seem to find a way.

Link to director's page

We also need to remove the picture we didn't select to be a poster for the films page. We uploaded 8 pictures but none of them were selected to be or intended to be a poster pictures. IMDB did this on its own. Even in comment to editors we put in "Not a Poster"

Link to film's page.. Please  have the poster picture just be a production still and not a poster. We don't have a poster yet so that needs to be blank for now.

It appears to me that those pictures were added to Klaus Menzel's page via a Resume subscription. IMDb's policy is that pages added to an individual's personal gallery (as opposed to shots from IMDb partners like WireImage) may not be tagged to other people.

I believe the reason is two-fold : 1) to prevent a major star's page from being overwhelmed by shots of them with relative unkowns who want to link themselves with the star, and 2) to prevent someone with a 'vendetta' from posting a photo that shows the star in a bad light and linking it to his page.

On the other hand, photos added to Title pages (e.g. cast shots, on-set shots) can definitely be tagged so they will show on the various name pages.

I am not sure about the position on Posters, but I do know that IMDb is anxious to have graphics beside as many Titles as possible in the filmographies.

I expect that the system automatically selects a shot when one is available, but I am not sure. In any case, I expect that they will not remove this from the poster position. Of course it will be replaced when you upload a true poster.

thank you for your reply... Would anyone form IMDB just confirm this so I can give a straight answer when asked what's going on... Also If there is a need for one of those pictures to be a poster on the page can we at least change it to another image...

Hi Darko -

DavidAH_Ca is correct.  While we allow for captions to be added for photos submitted through IMDbPro resume services, at this time we don't allow 'linking' the other people in the photo. Photos added through IMDbPro/Resume only show up in the gallery of the person you added the photos to; they do not appear in the related people's galleries.

If there are production stills, that are linked to a title page, we can link to the name of the individuals within the photo.

Concerning the poster display for "What About Love", our current name and page design has a built-in primary image selector so that if there is no poster selected or
submitted, the system automatically sets one as a placeholder. If you are not happy with the one that is featured we will gladly set an alternate image from its IMDb gallery, however, we cannot leave the poster display blank.

Hope this helps clarify!
