Hi
I love to create movie lists on Imdb. But I see some errors when I am creating list one error is I can add the same movie over and over again to the same list eg: lets say I created a list called "alien movies" and I add "man of steel 2013" agian I can add the same "man of steel 2013"movie to my alien movie list which really bad. So can you please fix that so that one list only accept a single add of a same movie.

Not everyone use the lists in the same way. If someone wanted to do a list of, let's say what they consider the greatest movie quotes of all time, adding each movie and then writing the quote in the description field, then on that list having the same movie more than once could be justified, and it would not make it a bad list. I can think of several ways to make a list that would sometimes require adding the same movie more than once, so removing that option would limit the options of other list creators even if it would please you.

Besides, even if you can add a movie twice to your list, why would you?

As a compromise they could perhaps (if it's possible in their current software) add a warning if you try to add the same movie twice, so that those who do not want it can opt out, and those who do it intentionally can still keep it.

If you add to a list via the Title page, rather than via the List page, there is a flag to indicate which lists that title is on.

Another reason to allow duplicates: I have a list to track the films I watch in a given year. It's quite possible that I might watch the same film more than once, in which case I'll want the title listed multiple times.

Make this annoying 'feature' an option when I am creating a list, i.e. allow duplicates, yes / no
