Dear IMDB Team,
I have posted below additional information including contracts and/or call sheets in support of the above contribution requests that were refused on the basis that you were unable to verify them. Please now update them accordingly.
Thanks for your time and help,
Mark

1. Centurion 2010
I have attached here one of my many contracts and call sheets listing me as the "Quintus" stunt double (You have it listed as "Quintun" which is spelled incorrectly) Michael Fassbender played the character "Quintus". I want to be listed as "stunt double: Michael Fassbender". Please be consistent. All my other double credits list the actor's name, NOT the character he plays.

2. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2016
I have attached here an additional photography call sheet confirming my position as "assistant stunt coordinator". NB This film was produced under the working title "Boswell".

3. Maleficent 2014
I have attached copies of one of my many contracts and call sheets, all showing that I was the "assistant stunt coordinator" on the film.

4. The Girl With All the Gifts 2016
I was not the main coordinator and so in the interests of honesty I am looking to downgrade my credit to "additional stunt coordinator". Your repeated refusal to do this seems ridiculous

5. The Golden Compass 2007
I have attached an additional photography call sheet which confirms my position as the "stunt coordinator"

6. Troy 2004
I have attached copies of one of my contracts and call sheets which confirm my position as "stunt double: Orlando Bloom" who played the character "Paris"

Hi Mark,

We list our credits based on the titles end credits. In order to change how the credit is listed on the site, provide us with a screenshot of your credit listed in the end title sequence of the titles and our data editors can look into this further for you.

Thanks
Meredith

Hi Meridith,

All the updates that I list in Contribution #190705-145839-569000 in the conversation to which I refer in my last message are uncredited. I have provided clear proof of my position in each case but understand that the "uncredited" attribute will be applied to all of them.

Will you please confirm that you can now go ahead with the updates on that basis.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Please resubmit your corrections ensuring to include the (uncredited) attribute and our data editors will be able to review this further. If you add a link to this conversation into the explanation field of your submission our data editors will be able to review the evidence alongside the submission.

Thank you in advance,
Meredith

Dear Meridith,

As you advised, I resubmitted my corrections in Contribution #190722-144350-054000 on 22 July.

Five of the six corrections included the attribute "Uncredited"; were backed up with the evidence of copy contracts and call sheets; and with the added URL address for the conversation "Additional Evidence in Support of Contribution #190705-145839-569000" where all the evidence was posted and could be checked.

All these five corrections have now been refused again, with the same reason trotted out that you "have been unable to verify the contribution".

Kindly advise me as to why my unequivocal contractual evidence does not qualify as verifiable evidence or has been ignored.

Thanks,

Mark

Dear IMDB Team,

I sent my previous message to Meridith, with whom I've been dealing, over a week ago but have received no reply.

Would somebody please get back to me and answer the question I raised then, which I will repeat here:

As you (Meridith) advised, I resubmitted my corrections in Contribution #190722-144350-054000 on 22 July.

Five of the six corrections included the attribute "Uncredited"; were backed up with the evidence of copy contracts and call sheets; and with the added URL address for the conversation "Additional Evidence in Support of Contribution #190705-145839-569000" where all the evidence was posted and could be checked.

All these five corrections have now been refused again, with the same reason trotted out that you "have been unable to verify the contribution",

This suggests that your automated program has looked at this but not your data editors. Kindly have your data editors examine my evidence as I was promised would happen and/or advise me as to why my that evidence does not qualify as verifiable evidence or has been ignored.

Thanks,

Mark

Dear IMDB Team,

This is my third time of asking

Is any one going to reply to my messages?

Having made me jump through all the hoops of adding additional evidence in support of my corrections, the automated response to my last Contribution ( #190722-144350-054000) on 22 July, is making a farce of your entire contribution system and protocols.

I was told this would be looked at by your (human) data editors, so Meridith or somebody get back to me

I pay a substantial enough fee to be on IMDB Pro and you are affecting my business

This is not Customer service

Mark

Would you please read through all the messages in this conversation before replying to me so that you understand my position.

I followed all Meridith's instructions to the letter in my last correction contribution, and clearly and exactly referenced the supporting evidence in the first posting of this conversation for the data editors to consult

Kindly now do that.

Thank you

Mark

Dear Jeorj,

Are you serious?

The separation in time between posts on this thread is completely irrelevant

It will take you 5 minutes to read through the 8 posts, and you will get all the information you need from that one read through.

I’ve been messed about enough and jumped through all your hoops to get this far so kindly now deal with a proper assessment of my last contribution based on this thread. All the supporting evidence is in the first post

Yes. The forum is busy. Nobody is going to care about one particular thread in quite the same way as the particular thread creator. This is a universal law.

Who are you Jeorj?

Are you a member of the support team employed by IMDB as a data editor, or are you a volunteer of some sort, or just part of the community?

Meredith is the only member of the support team employed by IMDb to reply to this thread. I'm no more a part of the support team than you are. There is actually an indicator graphic next to the screen name of every IMDb employee. She and the IMDb site authorities overall have left you hanging because the "question" is marked as "answered" and, for some reason, replies to answered threads may often fly under the staff radar. You will be able to garner some due attention by reposting the content of reply no. 20,213,589 as a new GS topic. I apologize for the frustration and opine that the forum is not necessarily in tip top shape.

Thanks Jeorj and Tom,

I’m new to this aspect of IMDb and don’t really understand how it all works.

I recently joined IMDB Pro to advertise myself in the industry and so want to update and correct all the past information with which I’m associated. Once this is done, there should be no problem with any of my future credits

I think it’s fair enough that IMDb rely on the community forum to sort matters out for people who use it purely as a database. But considering the not insubstantial fee I pay, I cannot believe how inefficient, difficult and frustrating it is proving to achieve this, and the total lack of any direct contact or support given to pro members. An inaccurate database loses its value and yet I have literally spent hours and hours trying to contribute my genuine corrections and am still no closer.

If this were an off-line company, I would tell them where they could shove their database and demand my money back. Unfortunately
my agent tells me I need to be on here.

Thank you again and I will keep trying

Best wishes,

Mark
