While Nakhane Touré is correctly tagged in this primary image, he's the actor on the far left, wearing the touque. As such, he's completely cut off in this profile image and a different actor is incorrectly shown for this name page (it's one of the "teen" actors playing the role of an "initiate" in the film). The photo either needs to be shifted sideways to reveal the correct actor, or a different image should be used for the profile. I tried one avenue ("Inappropriate" and giving this explanation) and the update was declined. Thoughts?

Hi, Carter Hayes. What is the name of the actor in the center of frame? Once he tagged in the still, an IMDb staff member can assign the image as the primary image of that IMDb name page for that man, whereas the name page for Nakhane Touré will lack a primary image. That's the best that can be done for now.

I would have to contact someone from the film to pinpoint his name. I recall him (he gets punched out by actor Bongile Mantsai moments after this frame grab) but not his name. This image appears in a lot of reviews, but I haven't seen his name in the captions.

Does it strike you as strange that a simple issue like this isn't more easily correctable? I've brought this up before, only about titles having no official poster and wonky images in the primary slot, and therefore there's no way to shift those images out of there. The miscellaneous comments/corrections portal, that was disabled a while ago, might have been helpful.

Oh, well. I tried.

Since the movie is not only available through Netflix streaming service but had already been in my Netflix watch list (which consists of 100 items), I should look into the matter of the cast members at some point. I'm just so busy. It's as though a number of things in my life are endless queues or leafless trees.

It's a solid film that earned some noms at Sundance and Berlin (among others), and praise from top critics. Definitely worth watching, in my humble opinion. I gave it a very high user rating.

Given Nakhane Touré is the film's star, I'm hoping IMDb staff replaces his photo with a proper one in time. They probably have their hands full right now with the start of TIFF.

I've managed to get my watchlist down to 55 films from double that at the start of the summer, so I know exactly what you mean.

Hi Carter -

Please note that if there has not been a designated primary image uploaded for a name page and there is an image within that individual's photo gallery we will automatically display this image as a primary for that person.

In this case, there has not been any primary image designated for Mr. Touré (via an IMDbPro Resume account), since there is only one still image within his photo gallery this is why this image was selected as a primary, generally, if there were other images we could pick a different primary, however, since this is the only primary image it will need to remain. Due to the image being a landscape format verses vertical, Mr. Touré isn't visible in the primary display, which isn't ideal, unfortunately we don't have any other images to select from to replace this primary.    Once other images are added to his photo gallery you are welcome to report that image and request that it replace the existing primary, otherwise, we will need to wait until Mr. Touré or one of his representatives claims his page and uploads a better primary image.

I hope this helps clarify!

Thanks for addressing the issue and for the information, Michelle. I'm not a big fan of the lack of options for correcting such cases, but I understand it's probably partly baked-in to encourage and generate Pro/Resume accounts. Hopefully it gets fixed in the near future, one way or another.
