After we "check-in" an unreleased title, we cannot remove it from the "Seen" list (even if we remove it from check-ins)

IMDb user "WeirdCat" reported this issue.

If we "Check-In" a title, then (as expected) the title will
appear in the "Seen" list at  http://www.imdb.com/seen/.

But if the title's status indicates that it is not yet released, then there is
apparently no way to mark it unseen and remove it from the "Seen" list.

We can remove an unreleased title from check-ins list, but still it will
remain in the "Seen" list.  There is no button available to remove an
unreleased title from the "Seen" list?

There is.

1. Go to http://www.imdb.com/seen/
2. Choose any title and click on "Seen"
3. A rating scale will appear; can you see a cross towards the left end of this scale?
4. Go to that cross, which will turn red when you hover over it
5. Click on it
6. Voila!

Hope this works. Let me know.

Not for unreleased titles.
click on "Seen"
There is no such button for an unreleased title.
A rating scale will appear
No, the rating scale is not available for an unreleased title.
can you see a cross towards the left end of this scale?
No, the rating removal button is not available for an unreleased title.

For example, take a look at the first item in my "Seen" list:

As you see, there is no obvious way to remove Westworld  from the list.

Pardon me, but you are right. I just checked.

And it does not work for unreleased titles. Sorry.

Thanks for the problem report. We have opened a ticket with the appropriate team. Please note that this is quite a rare case, especially as the seen feature has been scaled back since this problem report so it will take time to fix.
