I'm having trouble locating where I send an alternate title (from another country) to TV episodes, could someone tell me where it is, or is that not possible?

Hello, Anne.

As far as I know only original titles are eligible for TV episodes. However I might be wrong so I hope someone from IMDb Staff will clarify that.

Hello, Nikolay.

I also thought it was, but I saw that there are tv episodes with the original title and in another language, I found it strange, because I did not find option to edit on the page. I will await the return of any member of staff.

Hi Anne -

Just to clarify, we only allow episodes to have one title and generally don't accept AKA title listings for episodes.  With that being said, the reason why there are AKA titles listed for this episode is becasue the title was initially added to the site as a standalone film title, when it was moved to the series and listed as an episode, the AKA titles were retained.  Since we don't allow AKA titles for episodes this is why you were unable to add/update them in the online form.

If the title was first released as a standalone TV film, we can create a separate title page where the AKA's can be listed under, however, references online mentioned that the title premiered as part of "The Wonderful World of Disney"series, as this is the case I have now removed the AKA listings from the episode title as they are not eligible to be listed there.

I hope this helps clarify, let us know if you have any further questions.

I came with the same question because I was going to add the syndicated broadcast title to this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0212383/

The problem is these "episodes" are actually films and broadcast as such.  Things like 'Wide World of Mystery' weren't really "shows", the were banner names for themed movie presentations.  It's like calling 'Sunday Night Movie' or 'Movie of the Week' a TV series.

Oh yes, now I get it, thank you Michelle.

I hope someday the site will allow alternative titles in the episodes, there are episodes that are shown as if they were TV movies and it would be nice to be able to put the title they received so we could find them and recognize them easily.
