It all seems confusing?
Shouldn't all the limited run, two week, nightly and daily, 200 hour plus network broadcasts of the Olympics be classified as mini-series, like the rest of network Olympic broadcasts? These titles are classified otherwise.

Does each country's broadcaster get its own version of the title for their show or is there one consolidated title for all the countries broadcasts? There are over a hundred different partner broadcasters licensed by the IOC. (ie Sky Italia (presents) Vancouver Winter Olympic Games (2010) (TV Series) and NBC (presents)
Vancouver 2010: XXI Olympic Winter Games)
Also, the official the IOC documentaries for each Olympics seem to be similarly titled with adds another layer of confusion? (ie. IX Olympic Winter Games, Innsbruck 1964 (1964)).
