Anyone know how I can add a photo on my daughter's IMDB page? If I upload a photo, it only goes onto my personal page, otherwise I can't upload a headshot on hers.

Stephany: Do you have two separate IMDbPro subscriptions, one for yourself and one for your daughter?

I just pay for 1 monthly subscription for myself, someone else created her page when she got a credit but I can't add a photo unless it's a professional one from Getty images type thing. I just want to be able to add her head shots and pay whatever it costs:)

I already added a photo to my own page, but now I want to add a photo to the page of my relative/child/partner who is also on IMDb. How do I do that?

You will need an individual account/subscription for each filmography page that you wish to claim and upload assets to. If you already used your subscription to claim your own page, you will need to sign up for another account (using a different email address) if you wish to claim another.

Gotcha, no problem. But since she already has a page, do I create a new one and merge the two together or will she then have 2 profiles? So paying $19.95 a month is the only way to add one photo on a relatives page? That seems a bit steep considering it's $25 to add a photo on LACasting and it's there forever. Is there a way to do something like that? Thanks I appreciate the help!

You register the new Pro account, and then 'claim her page'. You want to be sure to claim her page and not create a new Name page. If you do create another Name page, it can be merged with the current one, but that is a nuisance and should be avoided if possible.

Yes, currently a separate Pro account is the only way to add your choice of photo to a Name page.1 Note that there is an Annual subscription option that reduces the cost by about 20%

Several years ago, IMDb used the Publicity Service (still used for Title page) to allow a person to upload a primary Headshot for $25 and other shots for $10, and these were permanent - many are still on the site.

I don't know if this played a major part in IMDb's decision, but unlike Titles, People change over time and IMDb started to get a flood of complaints that it was necessary to pay full headshot fee in order to put up a new primary photo (which changed the previous photo to the same status as other photos in the gallery) and that they should be allowed to change it for free. A while later IMDb cancelled the Publicity Service option for Name pages, and replaced it with the Resume subscription which allowed the person to add up to 100 photos, and to change them as they wished as long as the subscription was in effect.

1 A side note:

There are three ways a photo may appear on a person's Name page:
  1.  IMDb's Photo partners may upload photos. These are most often shots at red carpet and similar events.
  2.  A photo that includes the person may be added to a Title page - usually either a cast photo or a still from the Title. If the person is clearly visible, they may be tagged, which will cause the photo to be visible in their gallery.
  3. A photo may be uploaded by the person named in the page - formerly via the Publicity Service and now via a Resume subscription.
If the person does not have a Resume subscription the system may set one of the shots from the other sources in their gallery as a Headshot. This is more likely to happen with a better-known person, and there is more likely to be a good Headshot available in the various event photos in that case as well. The only way for the person involved to have a definite say in what, if any, headshot is shown is to use the Resume subscription.
